The new addition to Covet's inspiration space has been completed. Titled the 'Art Box' if features the Ever Artwood Kabebari and Artboard series. Thank you to Kihara Landscapes for tying the two buildings tgether with some contemporary Japanese landscaping. If in Melbourne please drop by to take a look.
Covet Artwood from Japan was recently installed in a new apartment development in Melbourne called Spectrum Apartments - Box Hill. Designed by KUD and developed by Shangyi Property, this building makes a bold, contemporary statement. The designer selected the Covet aluminium cladding system called Ever Artwood from Takasho Japan for the entry lobby. The battens employed were the 2-section ‘Kabebari’ system designed for ease of installation and concealed fixings. The project was pre-cut from shop drawings in Japan and involved over 600 battens. The designers and client were drawn to the fire rating (AS/NZ 3837 - group 1), realistic timber aesthetic, precision and low maintenance aspect of the material.
